Huckleberry Pie
Ingredients
* 3 cups fresh or frozen huckleberries
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
* pastry for double crust pie
* 1 cup grated apple
* 2 tablespoons flour
* dash of salt
Method
Measure ingredients into a two quart mixing bowl and mix well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Cover with top crust and bake at 375 F for about one hour or until nicely browned.
Makes one 9″ pie.
